What is the difference between permanent makeup and microblading?

Accepted Answer

The first difference is that microblading is a manual technique with a hyper-realistic hair imitation effect, or also used in "shading"  (shading technique), with a 6 to 12 month hold. With the manual technique, we only treat the eyebrows.
 
Permanent make-up is an electrical technique that will allow the pigment to be implanted deeper for a longer-lasting result (preferable the longer the thick and mature skin), more varied since we treat the eyebrows, the eyes as well as the lip and we can also make corrections of old pigmentations or scars. The result is variable between 1 year (eyebrows) and 3 years (eyeliner and lips) with an annual touch-up recommended to refresh the color of the creation.
 
Men's rates are the same for all services.

For the questions below regarding the 2 techniques, we will use the term "permanent make-up".

Question 2

What are the contraindications of permanent makeup?

Accepted Answer

- Pregnant or breastfeeding women,
- People with autoimmune diseases,
- People suffering from active or progressive dermatological diseases,
- People with insulin-dependent diabetes,
- Problems suffering from wound healing problem,
- People on isotretinoin treatment (Roaccutane type),
- People prone to certain allergies (contact us)
- People with hemophilia or heart problems,
- In case of recurrent Herpes, it is mandatory to take preventive treatment
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun at least 7 days before.

Question 3

What do you recommend before a permanent makeup appointment?

Accepted Answer

- Avoid the sun at least 1 week before the service and after the service until healing,
- Rigorously apply your post-tattoo cream for 10 days after the session. Protect your pigmentation daily with a cream with a minimum SPF30 protection factor,
- Not to take aspirin or anti-inflammatory treatment or anti-coagulant (occasional treatment otherwise, specify) for 3-4 days before the session,
- To be of legal age (or consent of both parents required),
- Be in good general health (preferably neither sick nor menstruating) on the day of the appointment.
- Have had a meal or a snack at least 2 hours before.

What are the differences between microneedling and peels in terms of results?

Accepted Answer

Micro-needling is a technique using micro-needles (single-use and sterile) that puncture the skin to induce a regenerating action. This will create multiple micro-channels in the skin, which will naturally activate the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibers (which slows down with age) while allowing better absorption of the active ingredients that are applied. 
This regeneration process will continue to act for a period of 4 to 6 weeks after the treatment. In a way, we reproduce a healing process.
 
For peels ("peel" in English = to peel), it is an accelerated form of exfoliation, that is to say that we will cause a more or less superficial destruction of the epidermis which will treat the targeted problem with specific active ingredients.
 
The 2 methods are complementary: on the one hand we target the structure of the skin, on the other its appearance (with sometimes more significant side effects).
 
Obviously, this type of treatment causes redness which fades after 48 hours on average, and in some cases (depending on the problem) after a week, with more or less significant flaking (depending on peeling intensity) and possibility of scabs.
 
For the 2 treatments, we will not treat pregnant women, nor people suffering from autoimmune diseases or healing disorders (and keloid scars), nor people on anti-coagulant or anti-inflammatory treatment. -inflammatory, or injured, irritated skin or skin with skin infections, or tanned skin (wait a minimum of 15 days).

Who are microneedling or peeling treatments for?

Accepted Answer

The microneedling and/or peeling treatments are aimed at both adolescents (with parental consent) and adults with skin imperfections (acne, dilated pores, etc.), people wishing  u>anti-aging prevention, or for people with specific alterations (wrinkles, pigment spots, scars, stretch marks, hair loss prevention and stimulation...).
 
We will not perform micro-needling treatments on people who heal poorly and tend to get keloid scars. 
 
Sensitive skin can be treated in both cases (specific products and protocols)

I have fairly marked wrinkles, what care do you recommend?"

Accepted Answer

First of all, it will depend on your skin and your lifestyle:
 
- PlasM treatment can remedy the problems in 1 to 2 sessions generally, but may require social eviction due to the scabs caused (depending on the area) 
- So if you prefer less side effects, microneedling and/or peels will be perfectly suited, and will require about 2 to 5 sessions.
 
- As part of the plasM treatment, we can treat "a" wrinkle (or "a" scar) as well as specific areas for a lifting and regenerating action, while we will treat the entire face as part of the peeling or microneedling.
 
In addition, the energy lifting treatment is perfectly suited.
 
Valid for scars, stretch marks and pigment spots.
 
As a precaution, we can carry out a preliminary test on phototypes 5 and 6 to prevent the risk of scarring and hyperpigmentation.

Question 8

What is BB-Glow exactly?

Accepted Answer

The BB Glow treatment is a microneedling technique associated with a "lightening" treatment product with a BB-cream effect, i.e. which will bring a lot of radiance while evening out the skin (attenuation of spots, discolorations, redness, pores...)
It is formulated without paraben and will intensely hydrate the skin and treat imperfections while evening out the complexion.
 
The BB-Glow serum is a serum composed of natural active ingredients, and it will act as a screen against UV radiation by minimizing melanin fluctuations (to avoid pigmentation rebounds) but nevertheless requires sun protection for durability results.
The skin may be slightly pink for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment depending on its sensitivity.
 
The results are visible from the first session, but 3 to 4 sessions are generally recommended for a result that will last 6 to 10 months! 
Suitable for all skin types except scars (tendency to make "keloid" scars, i.e. puffy scars), for women as well as for men.
 
We will give you the best advice during your appointment on the most suitable treatment; indeed in the case of spots due to acne for example, if the person is still subject to many imperfections, perhaps it would be better to treat this problem with a specific microneedling then to standardize the complexion for the next session ...it remains a point of view. 
 
Like other microneedling treatments, if your skin is sensitive (prone to redness) or if you are quite cozy, you can prepare it 2 weeks before with the use of a dermaroller (0, 5mm maximum) for 2 to 3 uses per week, preferably in the evening.
